Building engagement around the first Udo release.
The challenge
For the first Udo doll release, the opportunity extended beyond creating an online storefront. The launch needed a way to introduce the product, engage its audience before release, and encourage people to participate in the lead-up to the drop.
The approach
Pariter designed the launch website and developed a custom user-generated content tool that allowed fans to create personalized versions of their own Udo dolls ahead of release.
Rather than limiting the experience to product discovery, the generator gave the audience an interactive way to engage with the product and create content they could share organically. This helped extend the launch experience beyond the website itself.
The outcome
The initial Udo doll release sold out within hours. The launch combined a purpose-built storefront with an interactive experience that encouraged audience participation before the product became available.
